BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed said that the government has made Bangladesh such a weak state through dummy elections, we cannot say whether there is freedom or not, we do not know whether there is sovereignty. Here, various armed organizations and terrorists from other countries are entering our country, robbing banks and attacking. They are looting police stations in Bangladesh, looting treasures. People are killing. Attacked several police stations in the same district.

He said that in many parts of the country, including Kushtia, it seems that dacoits are ruling. No decent people live here, everything is owned by these robbers. The government is not able to provide any security to the people. The government itself is behaving like bandits. Where they themselves are in the role of robbers, there can be no security for the people. They took away people’s right to vote. The country has been looted. On the eve of Eid, one bank after another is being robbed, various financial institutions are being robbed.

He said these things while distributing Eid gifts among the needy and poor in the capital’s Uttara on Sunday (April 7).

Rizvi said, there is no democracy in the country. A country is repeatedly invading our borders, shooting and killing people almost every day. But the government is not even able to protest. The government is not able to realize our right to fair water. The country cannot run like this. We cannot sell the independence and sovereignty of our country. So our movement will continue to protect people’s rights and sovereignty.

Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP member secretary Aminul Haque, former joint convener Kofil Uddin Ahmed, Abdur Razzak, Ataur Rahman etc. also spoke at this time.

Later Eid gifts were distributed among poor and distressed people.
