Mango will cause diarrhea
In the video shared by Doctor Pawan, the mother of an infant has brought her child to him for treatment. The doctor asked him whether he fed mango to the child and after that he had diarrhoea. So the child’s mother’s answer was that yes, she had fed mangoes to the child, after which his health deteriorated.
What was the doctor’s answer?
On this the doctor asked whether the child was fed after soaking it in common water. On this question the woman said that she had fed the mango without soaking it. The doctor told that mango contains phytic acid which can increase the heat in the child’s body. Due to this, the child is at risk of diarrhea.
How to feed mango to a child
Regarding the way to feed mango to children, Dr. Pawan said that you should put this fruit in water and leave it for some time. This will greatly reduce the amount of phytic acid present in the mango and will not harm the child’s body. You can also soak mango in water and keep it in the refrigerator. Due to this the child will not have diarrhea or any other gastrointestinal problem.

It contains 67% Vitamin C, 20% Copper, 10% Vitamin A and 10% Vitamin E. Apart from this, mango contains folic acid, magnesium, potassium, vitamin B6 and vitamin K.
Mango provides colorful phytonutrients
According to mango.org, the phytonutrients present in mango can be detected by its dark bright color. Carotenoids like beta carotene and lutein give mango its yellow color. Anthocyanin, which contributes to the red color of some varieties of mango. Other bioactive compounds, such as mangiferin, flavonoids, gallotannins, gallic acid and alagalic acid are also found in mango.
