Bulgarian gymnasts won seven medals (four gold and three silver) in the finals of the women’s individual apparatus at the international rhythmic gymnastics tournament “Sofia Cup“, which ended in the capital.

Elvira Krasnobayeva became the champion in hoop, ball and clubs, Nikol Todorova is the first in ribbon, and Boryana Kalein took silver medals in ball, clubs and ribbon. Eva Brezalieva finished eighth in the hoop final.

Krasnobayeva was undisputed in the three finals in which she participated today. With a score of 35.100 (difficulty 18.100; artistry 8.350; performance 8.650) he took the hoop gold. Brezalieva made serious mistakes in her only final today and with 27.750 points (14.300; 7.300; 6.450) remained eighth.

Kazakhstan’s Milana Parfilova won the silver medal with 33.850, and Anastasia Ikan (Ukraine) came third with 32.500.

Bulgaria finished the “Sofia Cup” tournament with 14 medals – 7 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze.

Next week, from Friday to Sunday, Sofia will host the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup.
