Petros Kokkalis and Dimitra Matsoukas gave a revealing interview on the evening of Thursday, April 4. The well-known actress and the head of the Kosmos party got married on December 1, 2023 after 7 years of living together.
The couple spoke to Nikos Hatzinikolaou and the show Enopios Enopio about their relationship and marriage: “All couples are balanced and we are because we are in love and we love each other,” said Petros Kokkalis. With Dimitra Matsuoka adding: “We are good with each other. At the beginning of our relationship there were obstacles”, she admitted.

“I was giddy when I saw her in the theater”
Petros Kokkalis, referring to whether he is “jealous” of his wife, Dimitra Matsoukas, especially when she has a love scene, emphasized that “I am not jealous of her. In fact, when I went and saw her for the first time in the theater, I was dizzy.”
He explained that “because I didn’t go to the theater very often… I’m oppressed by the theater in general and when I went to see Dimitra, I was giddy. She has a tremendous energy, a tremendous presence on stage and because I live her, I don’t envy her.”
The acquaintance in 2014
The actress confessed that they met in 2014. They met through a mutual friend: “I was alone at the time and so was Petros. I saw someone I really liked and imagined him to be an agronomist. The friend introduced us and then everything happened very quickly and very perfectly”, as said Petros Kokkalis: “The first step was dancing”.
After 7 years the decision to get married came naturally. The marriage proposal had been made much earlier, at the beginning of their relationship. It’s a matter of opening horizons”, added Petros Kokkalis with Dimitra Matsoukas agreeing with him .

She called her her second mother, because she always looked after her. He referred to their relationship and the award he had dedicated to her: “Dimitra was involved in everything. She read a lot, spoke exceptionally well, was kind. She also listened to her music, went to Exarchia. Beauty opens some doors, but if what you do isn’t worth it, it won’t last. And my sister has been in the field for many years. She had a lot of responsibilities from a young age, as far as I was concerned, she read to me, looked after me, my mom worked,” Maria Matsouka said.
Then Dimitra Matsuka emphasized that she has never been moved again in an interview, crying: “I am very close to my sister and my brother. My sister is also the youngest of my family. I have never been moved before in my life on a show. It’s something I’ve always avoided, here it happened to me, but there’s a good reason.
