Again many shocking things came to light in this case. Apart from Anil of EHCC, Vinod Singh of Fortis, Kishore of Mahatma Gandhi, Raju of NIMS and Nidhi of Narayana were also in contact with accused Gaurav.

After many complaints, ACB had taken Gaurav’s mobile under surveillance from March 12. ACB’s inquiry also revealed that the gang was involved in the crime due to the donor-receiver not having any blood relation.

He would demand up to Rs 6 lakh. It was also revealed in Gaurav’s recordings that Gaurav was taking money in the name of Principal and Committee and apart from this, Rs 10 lakh was also taken from Fortis Hospital on March 3.

Kidney transplant gang caught in Gurugram, Haryana

Then a gang doing illegal kidney transplant was caught in Gurugram, Haryana. Haryana Police has claimed that this gang is linked to the organ transplant fraud of Jaipur.

The Bangladeshi caught in the guest house of Gurugram has admitted to having his kidney removed at Fortis.

Let us tell you that more than 100 kidney transplants take place every month in Jaipur. Gaurav was about to give 107 fake NOCs to private hospitals before April 15. Out of these 107 transplants, Mahatma Gandhi had the maximum number of kidney transplants.

Know who is in the circle

The committee formed for organ transplant has not held a single meeting for the last 3 years. The last meeting was held in the month of November 2021.

More than 2100 NOCs have been issued in these three years. Now in such a situation, even the committee members start raising questions.

Currently, the committee is headed by SMS Medical College Principal Dr Rajeev Barghatta and the members include Dr Ramgopal Yadav, Dr Anurag Dhaka, Dr Bhavana Jagwani, and Arpana Sahay.

Here, the role of the Office Superintendent of Organ Transplant NOC is also under doubt because it is his responsibility before the committee. Everyone knew that organ transplants are being done in private hospitals. But no one ever discussed about who is issuing NOC.

Even when the information about organ transplant in private hospitals was made public, none of them considered it necessary to raise questions and NOC continued to be issued.

Now along with ACB, the police department has also become fully active in this matter. To get to the bottom of this matter, the police has also sent a team to Gurugram.
