Inspectors of the Food and Drug Control Center, “Sebha Office,” accompanied by the Municipal Guard carried out an inspection tour of food and meat stores and markets, butchers, and companies inside the New and Soukra localities.

The center’s inspectors seized quantities of spoiled meat and expired food items, and the presence of prohibited colors inside some food items was also detected.

According to a statement by the Food Control Center, the seizure measures stipulated in the law were taken regarding the seized items and the owners of the violating shops, and the spoiled quantities were destroyed in cooperation with the General Company for Cleaning Services in Sabha.
