An informant who claimed to have been subjected to school violence by actress Song Ha-yoon spoke out.
On the 8th, JTBC’s ‘Incidence Chief’ released an exclusive interview with Mr. A, who raised suspicions of Song Ha-yoon’s school violence.
The ‘incident leader’ side said to Mr. A, “I will just ask you this. “Did you hit Song Ha-yoon too?” he asked. Mr. A responded, “Yes. “The disciplinary committee and forced transfer are so certain that all of our alumni will know,” he answered. “It was that big of a deal, and I got hit a lot. “It was more than 4 weeks ago,” he claimed. “Two of my friends who were originally close came to my house and knelt down and apologized. “And Kim Mi-sun (Song Ha-yoon’s real name) has never apologized,” he added.
According to Mr. A, who claimed that he was subjected to school violence by Song Ha-yoon, there were several perpetrators of school violence. The two female students who were assaulters at the time were close friends, and there had been no problems before the incident. However, when Song Ha-yoon transferred to the school, her mood changed. Song Ha-yoon started a conflict with Mr. A, saying he was spreading bad rumors about them, which later led to her group assault. During this process, Mr. A claimed, “Song Ha-yoon also assaulted me with his hands and feet.”
Mr. A said, “I suffered more than 4 weeks of injuries due to this incident. At the disciplinary committee held at the school, it was claimed that the perpetrators, including Song Ha-yoon, were ‘forcibly transferred’ to different high schools.”
In addition, Mr. A also refuted Song Ha-yoon’s agency’s explanation, saying, “Song Ha-yoon’s mistake was only to report to the assailant students that the victim, who was their partner, attended school, but did not directly assault them.” Mr. A said, “Because we placed our desks in one row, there was no concept of pairs at all. They say we were partners, but we sat in one row instead of two rows.”
According to Mr. A, Mr. A did not go to school on the day of the assault. “(Song Ha-yoon’s claim that she was only talking about her partner’s arrival) is nonsense. The three of us were originally very close friends, and I had no problems with school until then. That child (Song Ha-yoon) transferred to the school and started a rift, so they literally started a fight and got hit. He added, “It’s a lie to say he didn’t hit me.”
Meanwhile, suspicions of school violence surrounding Song Ha-yoon first emerged through JTBC’s ‘Incidence Chief’, which aired on the 1st. On this day, the ‘Incidence Team Leader’ reported, “We received a report that a famous actress whose stock price has been rising recently was the victim of school violence 20 years ago.” The informant, a male, told the ‘Incidence Team Leader’, “In 2004, I was assaulted by Mr. S, who was in his third year of high school in Seocho-gu, Seoul, without knowing why. During lunch time, I was called to the playground behind the school and beaten for 1 hour and 30 minutes without knowing why. “At the time, Ms. S was one grade higher than me, and her boyfriend was also an Iljin student, so he could not resist even once and just got hit,” he claimed.
The ‘Case Chief’ did not directly mention the name of the actress, but explained, “She is an actress who received attention for her ‘acting as a possessed villain’ in a recently popular drama.” Afterwards, Song Ha-yoon was pointed out as Mr. S in online communities and SNS (social media).
In response to this, Song Ha-yoon’s agency, King Kong by Starship, said, “After recognizing the seriousness of this issue and receiving the initial report, we spoke with the informant to confirm the facts. She later requested a meeting to confirm the exact facts through messenger, but the informant refused. She requested a call but did not receive a reply. As a result of confirming the facts with the actor involved in the informant’s claim, there was no face-to-face contact with the informant. “None of that information is true,” he denied.
King Kong by Starship said, “We would like to tell you once again that the content broadcast on JTBC’s ‘Incidence Chief’ and subsequent reports about it are all untrue. “In the future, we are considering all necessary measures, including civil and criminal action against the informant through confirmation of the facts of this case and legal review by a law firm, and a provisional injunction to ban broadcasting of the case leader,” he said. “Once again, we ask you to refrain from reporting on the informant’s one-sided claims and speculative reports that have not been confirmed by the facts,” he requested.
On the 2nd, JTBC’s ‘Incidence Chief’ followed up on Song Ha-yoon’s suspicions of school violence. In ‘Case Leader’, the informant said, “I don’t even know who I am? It’s impossible not to know. I don’t know, but they said that if you come to the US and come back to Korea, they will pay all the expenses. “It doesn’t make sense,” he said, refuting Song Ha-yoon’s official position. In addition, the informant said, “Song Ha-yoon was forced to transfer to another school due to group assault. He also claimed that Song Ha-yoon was suspected of group assault, saying, “This is three people hitting one person.”
