Azerbaijan is represented at the London International Book Fair, the press service of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan told Day.Az.
The London Book Fair, one of the largest in the world, began its work on March 12. The country is represented at the fair with the organization of the Ministry of Culture and with the support of the Azerbaijani Embassy in the UK.
The event is attended by senior officials of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, General Director of Təhsil LLC Tural Akhundov and head of the Everest publishing house Ramil Rzazade.
On the opening day of the fair, the delegation of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan took part in a number of events. Azerbaijani publishers also hold meetings and establish business relationships in order to present their products to a wider audience.
Participants and visitors to the fair are provided with extensive information about the history, culture, literature, book art of Azerbaijan, and about the city of Shusha, which was declared the “Cultural Capital of the Islamic World” for 2024.
The London International Book Fair runs until 14 March.
