The investigation, based on a tip about connections of acting chief prosecutor Borislav Sarafov with the “Eight Dwarfs” affair, has been extended by two months, after the initial deadline for its completion has already expired.
The reason – collection of more evidence and questioning of witnesses. The case that led to the investigation was closed after the collision with Ivan Geshev’s car on May 1 last year.
