The competitions of the Open Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship of the Ojag Sport Club went very well and left the most pleasant emotions.
As Day.Az reports, bronze medalist of the 4th Open Championship of the Ojag Sport club in rhythmic gymnastics, Leyli Gayibli, told Trend on Thursday.
The young athlete took third place in the all-around among gymnasts born in 2017 (category A).
“I like doing rhythmic gymnastics, and I think that this is the most beautiful sport. It’s very nice that there are a lot of spectators in the stands, they support the competitors, encourage them. All this gives us confidence before going on the mat, helps us cope with anxiety,” – noted a student of the Ojag Sports club.
According to the young gymnast, the awards won at competitions give her an incentive to develop further.
It should be noted that the 4th Open Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship of the “Ojag Sport” club is taking place on April 4-6. More than 180 gymnasts take part in the competition.
Along with representatives of the Ojag Sport club, pupils of the Specialized Children and Youth School of Olympic Reserve in Gymnastics, the Republican Complex Sports School, the Aquatic Sports Palace, the Zira Cultural Center, the branch of the Ojag Sport club in the village of Govsan and Olympic sports complex in Shagan.
Competitions are held in several age categories.
