He American tycoon founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, he bought a mansion for the third time in the exclusive Indian Creek Islandknown as the Millionaires Bunker. For this transaction he paid US$90 million in the area located in front of Miami Beach, more precisely in Biscayne Bay.
According to the news outlet Bloomberg, the purchase was made outside the market and the latest records of the 1115 m² property, six bedrooms and nine bathroomsshow that it was last sold in 1998 for US$2,500,000.
The 60-year-old millionaire plans to settle permanently with his fiancée, journalist Lauren Sánchez, while demolishes his other two houses which he acquired some time ago on the same island where great personalities live.
The exclusivity of Indian Creek is of such magnitude that It has only 41 residential plots and it has a country club, its own police department and is home to millionaire personalities such as: Jeffrey Soffer, Carl Icahn, Tom Brady, Julio Iglesias, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.

Bezos, who has the second largest fortune in the world with US$201,000 millionbehind the French luxury millionaire Bernard Arnault -according to the latest Forbes ranking-, acquired other two mansions on the island for US$79 million -located in front of the sea- and US$68 millionrespectively.
In turn, the founder of Amazon, who resigned from his position as CEO in 2021, also has properties in Washington, Maui and Beverly Hillsin the latter it disbursed US$165 million in 2020, according to Bloomberg.
Its eccentricity does not end only with its homes, but also owns one of the most expensive superyachts in the world: The Koruwhich is valued at US$500 million.
