László György pointed out that in 2024, the solar power plant capacities that were planned to be reached by 2030 will already be available in Hungary. This is an important element of the goal that by 2030, the production of 90 percent of electricity does not involve the emission of carbon dioxide.

In order to switch to green energy, the government launched a solar energy plus program with a budget of 75 billion forints, initiated an electric car purchase program for businesses with 30 billion forints, and encouraged settlements with a population of more than 25,000 people to buy only electric buses with subsidies, the government commissioner listed.


Ákos Kara, the Fidesz member of parliament for the Győr region, said that in the last term, under the leadership of mayor András Csaba Dézsi, energy modernization investments were implemented along a conscious and well-thought-out strategy.

In Győr, public institutions were the focus, in addition to many schools, the university was also energetically renewed. In the small settlements in the area, the primary health care institutions were typically modernized, the representative pointed out.

Ákos Kara also spoke about the progress made in urban bus transport with the introduction of electric buses.

“If in the next period the people support the Fidesz-KDNP majority in the local government, that András Csaba Dézsi be the mayor. we will be able to implement important developments for the future of the people living here,” said the member of parliament.
