KRISTIANSUND-KFUM OSLO 1–1

Oskar Sivertsen sent KBK into the lead just before the break at home against KFUM Oslo. But soon after, Håkon Hoset equalized so that both teams got one point each in Sunday’s first game in the Eliteserien.

The home team took the lead after referee Marius Lien awarded KBK a penalty kick after he believed that Shola Akinyemi held Hilmir Mikaelsson illegally inside the box.

The away team’s players clearly disagreed with the decision, which may have looked somewhat harsh.

Opinions also seemed to be somewhat divided on social media about the penalty kick.

Coach Johannes Moesgaard believed after the match that the penalty was severe.

A short time later, however, YMCA responded after a corner. Hoseth tapped the ball into the goal after the ball bounced out into the field.

After just under an hour, Petter Nosa Dahl came up with a huge chance for the Oslo team. Only a long arm from goalkeeper Michael Lansing prevented the visitors from taking the lead.

The away team continued the pressure throughout the second half and had another great chance with substitute Johannes Nunez around 20 minutes before the end. Again, Lansing stood in the way.
