On Wednesday April 3, 2024, around 9 p.m., a mother was injured in an attack perpetrated in the Bouré area. According to information, four people came on two motorcycles, armed with a PMAK.
The first attack occurred in Bouré Samani, a district under the Didi sub-prefecture. It was an Orange Money agency that was their target, they managed to take away a large sum of money before turning back. A woman was shot and injured at the scene.
After the attack, the alleged bandits fired several warning shots. Arriving at Bouré Balato, they fired several shots while passing through Bouré Boukaria. They were chased by the populations but unfortunately, none of them was arrested. Informed of the dramatic situation, the public prosecutor at the Siguiri court of first instance, quickly deployed defense and security forces on the ground to track down these highway bandits.
According to the latest news, the areas of Bouré considered to be the nest of bandits are under military control, defense and security forces are visible everywhere.
No arrests have been recorded among the ranks of the alleged bandits.
