When wishing happy birthday to Jackie Chan not Sunday (7), Will Smith thanked the actor for “helping create Jaden”your son.
“Happy 70th birthday (wow) to my man Jackie Chan!! In addition to making some of my FAVORITE movies of all time, creating some of the CRAZIEST moments ever captured on film – I especially thank you for helping create Jaden,” Will Smith wrote in an Instagram post.
“Our time with you in Beijing during Karate Kid has left an everlasting impact on our entire family. We wish you the deepest Love & Revelation on your next trip around the sun,” added the actor.
Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith, just 11 years old at the time, starred in the 2010 film “Karate Kid”, a remake of the classic martial arts film of the same name released in 1984.
The film was filmed in China and had Will and Jada Pinkett Smith as producers.
A new film in the franchise was announced by Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio at the end of last year.
