The traffic for trucks on the border with Romania at the Vidin and Kardam border checkpoints on the way out of the country is intense.

On the border with Greece at the “Kulata” checkpoint at the exit for trucks, traffic is also intense. It is difficult to pass through the “Kulata”/”Promahon” checkpoint due to the temporary organization introduced by the Greek authorities to gradually restrict the movement of trucks in both directions. Damaged sections of the truck lanes are being repaired and periodically they pass through only one inbound and one outbound lane.Promahon border crossing repair work will continue until April 16, 2024.

Only cars and minibuses can pass through the “Makaza”, “Zlatograd” and “Ivaylovgrad” border crossing points.

The traffic is intense on the border with Serbia at the “Kalotina” checkpoint at the exit for trucks. Construction and installation activities are being carried out at the checkpoint in connection with a contract for reconstruction and modernization. The activities require a temporary narrowing of the road lanes and a reorganization of the movement of passing vehicles .During the holidays, those traveling by car should take into account that the temporary organization of traffic before and in the area of the border point may extend the crossing time.

Traffic is normal at all border points on the border with the Republic of North Macedonia and Turkey, BTA reported.
