jpnn.comNABIRE – Chairman of the DPW PAN for Central Papua, Deinas Geley, was able to excel in three surveys for a gubernatorial candidate worthy of leading Central Papua for the 2024-2029 period.
In a poll held by Research and Development Media Online Central Papua, Deinas excelled over famous names such as Yuni Wonda, Isaias Douw and Natalius Pigai.
Deinas was able to collect 18 percent or around 3,338 voters.
Due to these results, Deinas admitted that he prefers to stay grounded with what he has obtained so far.
He will continue to maintain communication with political parties and other potential candidates to protect each other from every possible possibility in the upcoming November 2024 regional elections.
“Of course I am very grateful for the trust of the people of Central Papua for electing me in these three polls. Therefore, as regional party leader, I will continue to open all communications with all parties,” he said in a press release, Monday (8 /4).
As previously known, local media in Central Papua conducted a poll regarding which leader would be suitable to run as cagub in November.
As a result, Deinas Geley won 18 percent of the vote, Meki Writz Nawipa (16 percent), Yuni Wonda (16 percent), Natalis Tabuni (16 percent), Isaias Douw (15 percent), Natalius Pigai (11 percent), Eltinus Omaleng (9 percent) . (cuy/jpnn)
