”This invitation to the Sovereign reflects, once again, the depth of the bonds of fraternity, solidarity and esteem which unite Morocco and Senegal”, argues the author of the article, recalling that in Apart from the leaders of the sub-region, HM the King was the only Head of State to have received an invitation to take part in the inauguration ceremony of the elected President of Senegal.
And to continue that ”this invitation also reaffirms the depth of the exceptional and multidimensional partnership which exists between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Senegal, two partners and allies, in all areas”.
HM the King was represented, during the inauguration ceremony of the elected President of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, by the Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch.
Mr. Akhannouch’s trip to Senegal, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Mr. Nasser Bourita, took place on the Highest Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
