The Warsaw Prosecutor’s Office has announced that seven people have been detained after the discovery of four bodies in an abandoned house on Gzybowska Street in the capital’s western Wola district, the Polish news agency PAP reported.
Prosecutor Szymon Bana, a spokesman for the Warsaw District Prosecutor’s Office, said that a team of prosecutors overseeing the work of police officers from the 4th District Police Department in Warsaw, the Criminal Terrorism and Homicide Unit and the Forensic Laboratory of the Military Police, inspect the crime scene.
Two of the bodies were found on Sunday, and two more on Monday, BTA reported.
“Evidence and objects found at the crime scene indicate that a third party contributed to the death. The bodies were taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsies. Procedures are underway to establish the circumstances surrounding their deaths,” the prosecutor added.
Seven people have been detained in connection with the bodies found.
Military police officers also assisted in the investigation using ground-penetrating radar.
