A concert was held on the stage of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev in Baku, in which violinist Anar Bramo (Ibragimov) was the soloist, Day.Az reports.

The musician performed accompanied by the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli under the direction of artistic director and chief conductor, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Fuad Ibrahimov.

The program included “Variations on a Theme by Joseph Haydn” (Johannes Brahms), Violin Concerto No. 1 (Max Bruch), “Polovtsian Dances” from the opera “Prince Igor” (Alexander Borodin) and “Fantasy of Carmen” (Georges Bizet). Franz Waxman – Anar Bramo).

The musician’s soulful performance delighted the Baku public. Anar Bramo thanked the audience for the warm welcome and attention to his work.

It should be noted that violinist, conductor and composer Anar Bramo (Ibragimov) was born in 1981 in Baku and now lives in Germany. At the age of five he began learning to play the violin. At the age of 14 he gave his first solo concert in the Philharmonic Hall. In 1997 he graduated from the Gymnasium of Arts with honors. In 1998 he entered the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli.

In 2002, Anar Bramo was honored by the city government of Genoa (Italy) to perform Paganini’s violin concerto “Sivori”. For this purpose, the violin was specially brought to Azerbaijan for two days.

After graduating from the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, he continued his studies at the Folkwang University of Arts and the Cologne University of Music and Dance (Germany).

From 2002 to the present day, Anar Bramo has been conducting intensive concert activities throughout Europe.
