Antonio Cassano, always controversial, criticized Rafael Leão in a comment he made on a television channel. The former Italian international striker said that AC Milan‘s Portuguese striker is “a normal player”, although he considers himself “a phenomenon”.
“Leão thinks he’s a genius and some agree with him. I just consider him a good player and I don’t change my opinion about that. For five and a half months, he didn’t score in a league without quality, without intensity and without rhythm like the Serie A. 10 or 15 years ago, he would have had difficulty playing in the 6th or 7th place in the championship”, said Cassano, speaking to Rai’s microphones.
But Rafael Leão didn’t stop and responded: on the social network X, formerly Twitter, Leão commented with several clown emojis on Cassano’s statements.
