On the night of April 6–7, the Belgorod region was attacked by drones. According to Russian Telegram channels, critical infrastructure was hit. Russian authorities blamed Ukraine for the attack.

Russian Telegram channels report this.

In the village of Leninsky, Shebekinsky urban district, a drone attacked a private residential property, which resulted in a fire that broke out on the roof of a residential building. Thanks to the prompt intervention of firefighters, the threat was eliminated and the fire was extinguished.

The regional governor notes that the most serious destruction occurred in the village of Dronovka, Grayvoronsky urban district, where drones, presumably belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, carried out several attacks. As a result of these incidents, two cars were completely burned out, and a gas transmission line was also damaged. It is reported that the operational services have begun to eliminate the consequences.

It is worth noting that since the beginning of this year, the intensity of attacks by Ukrainian drones on targets in the Russian Federation has increased significantly. According to the latest data, in March alone, drones carried out at least 14 attacks on oil field facilities.

These air strikes led to the destruction of some equipment at oil refineries, which significantly affected gasoline production in Russia.

Earlier, Kursor reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will soon have drones that will fly to the Urals. It is expected that already this year the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to use drones with a range of up to 2000 km and even more.
