Mukta’s sister-in-law Zahirul Islam rushed to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital after hearing the news of death in the accident. He said that Belal used to work in a garment factory in Gazipur. Lived there with his wife and daughter. His village home is in Mathbaria of Pirojpur.

Zahirul said that Belal came to Sadarghat with his wife and children to go home on the day of Eid. He said Belal’s parents are not alive. After his death, there was no one left in that family, including his wife and children.

SI Liaqat Ali said that no case has been filed in this incident so far. Further legal proceedings are ongoing. If the relatives of the deceased want to take the dead body without post-mortem, they have to apply to the Naval Police. Further action will be taken according to their application.
