A shameful and enslaving contract for Bulgaria. This is how Borislav Gutsanov from BSP defined the contract between Bulgargaz and the Turkish company Botash.
At the moment, 486 thousand euros are paid by all of us, regardless of whether we use or not this gas coming through “Botash”, explained the deputy head of the BSP.
A complete outrage, done during the official cabinet, and continuing now, because the same people who signed the contract then are back, he commented. And he said that only 8 ministers signed it, which makes this act illegitimate.
It is very difficult to cancel this contract, because it is for 2.2 billion and I do not see how the Turkish side can agree to cancel it, but it must be renegotiated and the conditions under it should be improved, Gutsanov was categorical.
That’s why the parliamentary committee sends it to the prosecutor’s office and the National Security Agency.
The BSP will demand that the previous directors of “Bulgargaz”, who were such even then, be released, how they continued to perform these functions for a year and a half and how they will renegotiate it when they signed it, added Gutsanov.
At the moment, we have gas for 3.850 billion cubic meters, and we use about 2.6 – 2.8 billion. That is, about 1.2 billion remain on top, but all contracts are made in such a way that regardless of whether you take or not, you pay a service fee Gutsanov explained. And he gave an example: $9.19 is the transfer service fee, while with Greece it is 5.4 euros. Who negotiated these conditions and why have these people not yet been brought to justice, asked the deputy head of the BSP.
Next Wednesday, the committee’s report will be discussed in the plenary hall.
