(ANSA) – ROME, 11 FEB – Although from today there is no longer the obligation to wear masks outdoors, in Rome many people still wear them. Some because they were afraid of the virus, others because they did not know about the news. At Pigneto, one of the areas of the Roman nightlife, the reactions are different: “From today it is no longer mandatory? – asks a lady – Well, it means that we are leaving, but for now I will keep it, let’s get the count down again a bit'”. Even a student coming out of metro C shoots straight with the FFp2 mask on her face: “Even I didn’t know that from today it was no longer mandatory outdoors. The rules change so quickly …”. At the local market at least half of the visitors wear it: “I keep it, because in any case situations of gathering on the street always happen, especially at the market. This way I feel safer”, says an inhabitant of the area in his sixties. Many young people, on the other hand, walk without them. (HANDLE).
