Actor Ryu Soo-young (real name Eonam-seon, 44) expressed his thoughts about participating in a speech at the ‘Korean Food Conference’ held at Stanford University in the United States.
On the 12th (Korean time), Ryu Soo-young wrote to News 1, saying, “I appeared as a panelist and speaker at a conference related to Korean food with world-famous chef Judy Joo.” He added, “At the conference that lasted about 4 hours. “We talked and answered questions about Korean food for 1 hour and 30 minutes,” he explained.
He said, “It was a time to explain Korea’s side dishes, soup culture, and how Koreans cook,” adding, “Easy ways to cook at home have become popular in the United States as people work from home after the pandemic. (At the conference) “I told them how to cook easily at home and talked about the cultural differences in Korea, where people spend a lot of time in the kitchen because it is a side dish culture,” he said.
Regarding the atmosphere at the scene, he said, “The atmosphere was good and the atmosphere at Stanford was friendly,” and “They laughed so much every time I said a word that I was able to deliver the speech while laughing so that I didn’t get bored.”
