The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series returns after 13 years to Athens and specifically to Vouliagmeni, where 12 male athletes and for the first time 12 female athletes will demonstrate their adrenaline-filled dives, but also their incredible talent.
The event will last for three days, from 24 to 26 May 2024 in Lake Vouliagmeni, allowing the public to enjoy endless hours of exciting diving and more. Platforms Walks for the brave who can stand to walk on the platform that is 27 meters above the Lake, but also fun SUP Challenges for those who want to test their balance on a board.
Cliff diving is a top extreme sport that requires absolute concentration and incredible skills. In the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, 12 men and 12 women compete at each stop to earn as many points as possible.
Entry to the event costs (regular ticket) Friday (round 1) €10, Saturday (rounds 2 and 3) €15 and Sunday (final) €20, while discount packages are available for families as well as tickets in better seats and the VIP area of the Lake.

Diving from a platform – 27 meters high for men and 21 meters for women – each athlete is assessed by a panel on his/her technique and figures during the dive. In the end, a champion in the men’s category and a champion in the women’s category emerge, who win the coveted King Kahekili trophy, as well as a cash prize.
Cliff diving as a sport began in the 1700s in Hawaii, when a Hawaiian chief, King Kahekili, first jumped from the sacred cliffs of Kaunolo. The ancient Hawaiian fundamentals of “mana” and “pono” – strength and balance – are still preserved today.
