El Salvador continues to position itself as a destination to invest, reside and visit to promote the growth of different sectors and, above all, increase business opportunities in the tourism sector, which is one of the 10 economic drivers.
In this sense, recently, government officials participated in the Business and Investment Opportunities Forum in El Salvador, which was held this week in Bogotá, Colombia, where more than 100 businessmen participated and learned about the opportunities that the country offers to Colombian companies.
The event presented a comprehensive view of the investment opportunities that El Salvador offers and facilities in the business establishment process and provided detailed information on specific projects, tax incentives, legal framework and investment facilitation assistance.
The delegation met with representatives of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, which brings together important businessmen from the South American country, and who supported the organization of the event.
They also held a meeting with the Colombian Hotel and Tourism Association (Cotelco), where they presented El Salvador as an attractive destination for business with high potential in the tourism sector.
In response, Colombian businessmen expressed interest in learning more about El Salvador’s different investment projects, especially those related to infrastructure and energy.
On the other hand, representatives of Aviatur, Hotel Estelar, Avia Soluciones Hoteleras, Hotel Movich, Hotel Faranda, Hotel Las Américas and Avianca, as strategic allies, were present at the meeting to support the tourism sector.
