At the matches, there should be no attempts to bring fireworks and the order should be observed. This is what Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov requested from the managements of “Levski” and CSKA. He met with them, as well as bosses in the BFS and the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the Ministry of the Interior.

Here is what Stoyanov wrote about the meeting on Facebook:

At a working meeting today at the Ministry of the Interior, I welcomed the leaders of the BFS, the professional football clubs “Levski” and “CSKA”, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Together with the colleagues from SDVR, we introduced them to the unacceptable behavior of the fans during the last match between the two teams.

In this sense, we have identified measures that should be taken by the football clubs themselves to respect public order during the football derbies.

I believe that the stadium stands are a place from which everyone can enjoy the game of their favorite team, and not become an arena of riots.

I hope that for the next football match there will be no attempts to bring such pyrotechnics into the stadium!
