A member of the Maysan Oil Media Office, Muhannad Al-Lami, told Agency that Muhammad Ali Karim’s resignation came through his Facebook page, indicating that “the administration respects his wish if he insists on resigning and wishes him success.”

Al-Lami added, “The administration was surprised by the decision taken by the coach, but it will not stand in his way if he insists,” explaining that “the administration is in an electronic meeting on the club’s group, and will make an urgent decision and set possibilities for future coaches to lead the team.”
