The IPL 2022 auction is underway, with Sun Riser Hyderabad bidding Rs 8.5 crore for Washington Sundar, who played for RCB.

But the CSK team was never involved in this overall bidding battle for Washington Sundar. Gujarat Titans, Punjab Kingston Washington liked Sundar more. Washington Sunder rose to Rs 7 crore after entering Delhi. When it thought of completing Rs 7.5 crore, it entered Lucknow and went beyond Rs 8 crore. Sunrisers finally closed at Rs 8.75 crore.

The CSK team clashed with the CSK team to release Tamil Nadu all-rounder Washington Sundara and catch the Mumbai player, Kurunal Pandya from Baroda. Rs. CSK was in competition even up to over Rs 4 crore, but after Rs 5 crore was gone CSK also decided not to do so. The Lucknow Super Giants finally bid for Kurunal Pandya for Rs 8.25 crore.

He and Hooda are again colleagues, both of whom are Baroda. Washington Sunder became the first player to be acquired by the Sunrisers team. Sunrisers team purse still has Rs 60 crore.

RCB also bought Vainindu Hasaranga for Rs 10.75 crore. CSK did not spread the net for him either, but it is surprising that Kurunal spread the web for Pandya. It will come as a surprise to the fans that the Mumbai player went behind the Tamil Nadu player Washington Sundara.
