Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport: 12% increase in passenger traffic at the end of February (ONDA)
Tangier – Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport recorded a 12% increase in passenger traffic at the end of February 2024, compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the National Airports Office (ONDA).
Thus, Tangier airport welcomed 282,450 passengers at the end of last February, compared to 253,024 during the same period of 2023, ONDA specifies in a press release.
For the month of February alone, Tangier airport recorded an increase of 10% with 135,082 passengers welcomed, compared to 122,555 travelers during the same month of 2023.
It should be noted that the Tangier airport platform closed the year 2023 with a commercial traffic volume of 1,913,698 passengers, up 34% compared to a year earlier.
Furthermore, ONDA notes that Moroccan airports recorded a volume of commercial traffic of 4,551,240 passengers during the first two months of 2024, an increase of 17% compared to the same period a year earlier.
