– 2024-04-13 23:35:39″>Margarita Vasileva is the queen of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Sofia. Grace received a unique crown and jewels from Zlatarna Celie.
Vasileva, who is part of the Bulgarian ensemble, collected 48 points from the votes of sports journalists (Bulgarian and foreign) and photographers accredited for the sports event. Each journalist had the right to vote for one gymnast from a country – this was new in the regulations this year.
Her runners-up are Liliana Lewinska (Poland) with 29 points and Alina Harnasco (Belarus) with 22.
40 media representatives took part in the poll and voted for gymnasts from 16 nations.
The crown, which is a piece of jewelry art, is transitory and is given every year. It was presented to Vasileva by Valentina Ivanova, the regional manager of Zlatarna Celie for Bulgaria.
The tiara is unique with its design, made of silver 925/000 with rhodium coating. The stones that are encrusted are oval white and purple cubic zirconia, all set by hand by Zlatarna Celije’s experts. Its surface is covered by matte polished elements. The crown was made according to a conceptual design by Helena Umberger. The making of the tiara is a mix of modern technology and handmade, which makes it unique and unrepeatable.
The first winner of the crown five years ago was Nevyana Vladinova, who is now the vice president of the BFHG and the chief judge of the tournament.
