Health Minister said that there was no interruption in medical services anywhere in the country including Dhaka during Eid. Samant Lal Sen.
He said this to reporters while visiting Kurmitola General Hospital and Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital in the capital on Saturday (April 13).
The health minister said, before Eid, I said that there should be no disruption in health services. In these few days, not only Dhaka, I have also talked to those who are outside of every division, every medical college. They assured me that there was no interruption in medical care. Another thing is that this Eid we have made good accommodation and food arrangements for doctors and nurses, as a result of which they are working spontaneously.
In response to a question from journalists about the increasing number of dengue patients in the country, the health minister said that the job of the health ministry is to treat dengue cases. I have held meetings at my level so that there is no interruption in treatment. The secretaries are also having a meeting with everyone And the dengue patient should be admitted to the hospital at the right time. Currently, all doctors in the country are experienced in the treatment of dengue. So if the patients are admitted to the hospital at the right time, there will be no problem in the treatment.
He also said that the best treatment for dengue is prevention. Dengue can be avoided if the houses are kept by themselves.
