Regarding last night’s attack by Iran, Petkov said that normal citizens of Israel do not deserve another horror.
“I’m very sympathetic to them. I think the conflict in Ukraine, in Israel, in Iran and the Houthis attacking American ships is a common axis of attack so that the Western powers are distracted.”
Petkov added that he spoke in Davos with “one of the high-ranking people in Yemen”. Asked about the role of the Houthis, the Yemeni expert said: “What Houthis, they came from the Russian paramilitary structure, made camps together with Iranian weapons, started shooting at the American ships used our personnel”.
