Bournemouth took the lead on two occasions, but two equalizers from Bruno Fernandes ensured a 2-2 draw in Saturday’s game at the Vitality Stadium.
Dominic Solanke put the hosts ahead in the 16th minute when he rounded Willy Kambwala and sent the ball into the left corner.
On the half-hour mark, Marcus Rashford won the ball high, played out to Alejandro Garnacho, who then found Fernandes via a Bournemouth foot. The Portuguese knocked in 1-1.

However, Bournemouth were the leading team before the break, and then it was not undeserved that Justin Kluivert sent them back into the lead a few minutes later.
The Dutchman took advantage of weak defensive play from United, pulled in from the left and sent the ball into the bottom corner.
However, United hung on better after the break and in the 64th minute a penalty was awarded when referee Tony Harrington adjudged for a hand on Adam Smith.
Fernandes confidently stepped forward and sent the keeper the opposite way.
In extra time, Bournemouth were then awarded a penalty for a Kambwala foul on Ryan Christie. However, the replay showed that the offense occurred outside the penalty area, and then it ended rather in a free kick.
In the end it ended 2-2, which means that there are now ten points up to Tottenham and Aston Villa. Newcastle also have the same number of points as United after their victory over Spurs earlier on Saturday.
