After a draw and a defeat in the first stage, Flamengo’s men’s team took advantage of playing at home and defeated Pinheiros 16-8. Two other games took place in the men’s round. Sesi defeated Paulistano 12-8, while Fluminense scored 13-6 in ABDA.
While the men’s clubs are in the second stage of the tournament, the women’s teams made their season debut. In the first round, Flamengo faced Sesi-SP and won their first 3 points with a score of 7-4. In the other match, ABDA beat Pinheiros 13-11.

This Sunday, the last matches of the men’s and women’s stages of the National Water Polo League will take place in Rio de Janeiro. Among the men, Sesi plays against ABDA, Pinheiros duels with Paulistano and Flamengo and Fluminense ends with the Rio classic. In the women’s category, Fla faces the Pinheirenses and Sesi faces ABDA again.
