This year there was a salary increase, and as paradoxical as it sounds – I am worried about these increases. This was stated by the president of KT Podkrepa, Dimitar Manolov.
The increase in prices in Bulgaria is less and less and in March it returned to the levels of July 2021. This is shown by the data of the National Statistics, which were announced today.
“This is somewhat good news. But, on the other hand, I have to say what has been bothering me for years. This year there was a salary increase, and as paradoxical as it sounds – I am worried about these increases. Because those who give such money in advance, most often have a plan how to take it from us with a top. This can’t help but bother me,” explained Manolov.
“The fact that price increases have returned to the level of 2021 does not mean that prices have returned to the same level.” This means that they are growing as fast as they were then, which probably makes some sense outside of Bulgaria. Because we have very little influence on this process. Our inflation, to a large extent, is mostly imported,” he said.
According to him, there is a possibility that the prices of electricity and heating energy will rise from July 1. “Politicians are already starting to prepare us that the money in the Energy Security Fund is gone. The funds with which the companies should be compensated, if they are not there, who will take this difference?” he asked and expressed fears that we may end up in the situation of paying electricity at such a price as the electricity distribution companies will buy it, broadcast by NOVA.
