Lalbagh Fort is the only historical monument of Mughal era Bangladesh. It is an ancient fort built during the Mughal period in the heart of the capital Dhaka. Many people come here to get acquainted with the history and traditions of the Mughal period. Attendance of visitors increases in any festival. Lalbagh Fort is closed weekly on Sunday. However, the fort is kept open today for visitors on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and Pahela Baishakh. This historic landmark was full of visitors. Many come in the autumn afternoon. In the end, many people left upset not being able to enter the fort. They also expressed their anger on the authorities.

It can be seen that the visitors are entering the fort in groups. Some came with father, some with mother. Someone came with a friend. Many have come with their entire families. They are looking around the whole area. Many are sitting in a pleasant environment.
A visitor named Lucky Akhtar said that the afternoon of Lalbagh Fort is very beautiful. I brought my children. They are also very happy. A visitor named Shahjahan Mia said that one has to be busy with activities throughout the year. There is no opportunity to move around with family like that. So I went out with my family. It feels good to come to the fort.
Lalbagh Fort is open for visitors from 10 am to 5 pm. The fort can be entered till 5:30. Then allowed to enter again.
At the end of the entry time on this day, many people gathered in front of the gate. But they could not enter. Many expressed their anger not being able to enter.
It can be seen that a couple is standing in front of the gate. They are begging the Ansar security personnel to let them in even for 10 minutes. Ansar members told them that time is over. No entry will be allowed for a minute now.
Talking to the couple, it is known that they are from Narsingdi. Participated in a program. From there he came to visit Lalbagh Fort. The couple said they came from a long way. But I could not enter. upset You have to leave with sadness. A woman came in front of the gate. Indignantly, he said that he has closed the time of Eid. Have to stop on time on the festival day? What happens if you increase the time?
Security worker Humayan said that it is our responsibility to keep an eye on security. There is nothing to do when the time is up.
Lalbagh Fort employee Abu Bakr Sheikh said Sunday is a weekend in Lalbagh Fort. It is still open today due to Pahela Baisakh and Eid-ul-Fitr. Visitors are coming well. Although it was low in the morning, it started increasing after noon. The fort can be entered daily from 10 am to 4.45 pm. Everyone was kicked out from 5 o’clock. After that there is no chance of entry. It is a government rule.
He said that since Lalbagh Fort is open on Sunday, it will be closed tomorrow on Monday.
