At six o’clock this evening, Thursday, our Olympic football team will play its last friendly rehearsal, against the Japanese Olympic team, as part of its training camp currently held in the Qatari capital, Doha.
This match is an important testing station before entering the Asian finals qualifying for the Paris Olympics, which will begin against the Thai Olympic team.
The coach of the Olympic team, Radhi Shanishil, told the (INA): “This match is extremely important to determine the team’s readiness before the official qualification,” noting that “the technical staff seeks to gather the team’s cards, qualify the players well, and prepare them in the required manner without Risking them and their physical safety.”
The draw placed our Olympic team alongside the teams of Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Tajikistan.
