Regarding health infrastructure, the INDH carried out three projects costing 2.57 million dirhams, relating to the construction and equipment of a maternity ward in the commune of Ait Rakha, the development of housing for the staff of the provincial hospital and a cold room at the provincial hospital as a contribution from the INDH to support the vaccination campaign against the Covid-19 pandemic, indicated the social action division of the province of Sidi Ifni.
The provincial Human Development Committee also allocated an envelope of 3.71 million dirhams for the strengthening of health centers and the provincial hospital with medical equipment, particularly those relating to maternal and child health, the acquisition of five ambulances for the benefit of several communities in the province, in addition to support for patients with kidney failure and medical caravans organized in the province.
The INDH also provided support for strengthening the health offer with the necessary human resources, within the framework of a partnership agreement with the provincial council of Sidi Ifni and the Moubadarate association for human development, to a cost of nearly 4.36 MDH.
These projects have contributed significantly to the improvement of health services for the achievement of spatial justice between the different territorial communities of the province.
