jpnn.comJAKARTA – Golkar Party politician Ridwan Kamil has finally opened his voice about plans to run for the DKI Jakarta Regional Election in November 2024.
The former Governor of West Java said registration is still in August 2024. He also admitted that he had not decided yet because he was still waiting for the right time.
“Yes, that hasn’t been decided yet, let’s just wait at a better time. It’s still a long time before registration in August,” he said in Jakarta, Thursday evening.
This was conveyed by Ridwan Kamil after attending the Eid al-Fitr open house at the residence of Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, who is also the General Chair of the Golkar Party.
“Attending the Coordinating Minister’s invitation. Hopefully this year and next year will be better for the economy, whose achievements have been extraordinary,” he hoped.
Previously, the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the Golkar Party assigned Ridwan Kamil (RK) to run in the Jakarta and West Java (Jabar) Regional Head Elections (Pilkada).
RK as the sole candidate for assignment in West Java. Meanwhile in Jakarta, RK with Ahmad Zaki Iskandar and Erwin Aksa.

after meeting thousands of prospective regional head candidates from all over Indonesia at the Golkar DPP Office, Jakarta (6/4).
