The Azerbaijani women’s basketball team in the 3×3 format reached the semi-finals at a licensed tournament in Hong Kong.
As İdman.biz reports, our team, which for the first time in its history is challenging a ticket to the Olympics, beat Mongolia (13:12) in the final matches of the group stage, guaranteeing itself a place in the playoffs. And in the final meeting in the group it lost to the Netherlands – 11:15.
Thus, Azerbaijani basketball players took second place in the quartet and will play in the semi-finals. The opponent will be determined later.
Let us note that the day before, in the first game of the tournament, the Azerbaijani team beat Chile – 17:14.
Only one ticket to the Olympics is being played out in Hong Kong.

The group stage of the licensed 3×3 basketball tournament in Hong Kong ends today.

In the first match of the day, they beat Mongolia in a bitter fight – 13:12.
For our team, this is the second victory in a row, taking into account the victory the day before against Chile (17:14). Thus, the team has already secured its place in the semi-finals.
In the final match of the group, our basketball players will play with the Netherlands.
