The French team embarked on this human and united adventure to defend the Association “Un petit bagage d’amour”, which aims to include vulnerable categories, notably women and families in precarious situations.
In a statement to MAP, the two participants were delighted with this victory, which is the second for the pair, noting that they previously won the 6th edition of the Dakhla: Closing in apotheosis of the 10th edition of the Raid Sahraouiya”>Raid Sahraouiya.
“This year’s experience was more difficult compared to the edition four years ago, but we tried to hold on,” they said.

As for second position, it went to the Moroccan team composed of Narjiss El Fassi and Amal Adyel, under the colors of the SOS Children’s Villages Association in Morocco.
Regarding third place, it was won by the pair of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), composed of Ernestine Umbiyeye (Rwanda) and Rahinatu Wintina (Ghana), representing the François Xavier Bagnoud association (FXB) Rwanda branch.
The city of Dakhla vibrated for a whole week, to the rhythm of an exceptional event celebrating a good cause and placing the women’s issue, social integration and the promotion of the southern provinces at the heart of its action.
In ten years, more than 1,000 participants from all over the world have taken part in the different editions of this sporting event and have been able to support more than 90 associations. Sahraouiya is the story of courageous women, determined to see the challenges through, to help each other and above all to defend their associations in unison.
