VACCINATION
On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, the Gonzol Parish Gad in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG) carried out an outstanding day of deworming and vitaminization in cattle. These activities were carried out in the communities of San Martín and Zúnag from 8:00 a.m.
The main objective of this initiative, according to statements by the president of the parish board, Adrián Auqui, is to prevent diseases and possible pests in livestock, especially amid the challenges caused by climate changes. This campaign, which is carried out annually, will be extended to all parishes and communities belonging to Gonzol, urging livestock farmers to be present to allow specialists to carry out the relevant work. Despite the efforts, due to time limitations, the event could not cover the entire Zúnag community. Therefore, a new day has been scheduled for next Tuesday, April 16. Likewise, similar activities will be carried out in the Iltus, Cochapamba and La Matriz sectors. The campaign was developed successfully, demonstrating the commitment of local authorities and the MAG in guaranteeing the health and well-being of cattle in the Gonzol parish.
