The actress Mary Mina was the Protheatrix of the Touching Ceremony of the Olympic Flame, for the Olympic Games to be held in Paris in the summer of 2024.
In the sanctuary of Olympia, in front of the ruins of the 2,600-year-old temple of Hera, Prothea Mary Mina lit the Flame from the rays of the sun in the Temple of Hera, in front of 600 guests.
The imposing Greek actress then passed the torch to the first torchbearer, Stefanos Dusko, Olympic rowing champion at the Tokyo Olympics.

Who is Mary Mina?
Mary Mina became popularly known as “Angeliki” in the Alpha series of the same name in 2020, but she has been acting for almost ten years.
In 2016 she graduated from the drama school of the Athens Conservatory, while in the same year she completed her studies at the Department of Social Work of the Hellenic Mediterranean University.
Her career in theater began in Sweden, where she took classes in theater for people with special needs.
In 2018 she participated in the play “My name is Emma” and in 2019 in the play “Oresteia – Hoiforii”, while in 2023 she took part in the play “Frogs”, together with her partner Michalis Sarantis.
A few months ago, Mary Mina was on the show “Moms”, where she talked about her relationship with the actor Michalis Sarantis and the arrival of their daughter.
In December 2023, Mary Mina was on the show “Mama-des” in which she talked about how positively her relationship with Sarantis was affected by their choice to co-star in the theater, saying that this brought them even closer.
