The administrative body of the Air Force Sports Club decided to cut 25% of the contracts of the football team players, after the team’s results and performance declined in the second stage of the Iraq Stars League.

The club’s administrative body stated in a statement received by the (INA), that it “provided everything for the team in the current season, to compete strongly for the league and cup titles, and did not skimp on providing all the players’ needs and requests, and that the performance of a number of players declined and the lack of a sense of responsibility in the matches.” Finally, we decided to apply the principle of punishment and reward to all players, according to the disciplinary regulations within the contracts signed with the players.”
The club management explained, “The penalty for deduction will be 25% of the contracts of the first team players, and that this penalty is not fixed and definitive, and will be conditional on achieving the aspirations of the administration and the fans to win the league title.”
