THE Tobias Stiller appointed by UEFA to officiate the second leg of the Conference League quarter-final in Istanbul between Fenerbahce and Olympiakos. The German is a familiar face for the Red and Whites since he has been in Greece a few times to referee league games.
More specifically, he managed Olympiacos – AEK (4-1) in February 2019 and a year later PAOK – Olympiacos (0-1). He has also whistled three (!) derbies between AEK and PAOK. 1-1 in October 2020, 4-0 in New Philadelphia in April 2023 and most recently 2-2 at the same stadium this year (7/4).
Stiller’s assistants will be Christian Gitelman and Mark Bors, while Daniel Slager will be fourth. VAR will be Christian Dingert and AVAR Sascha Stegemann.
