Organized by the Moroccan Society of Dynamic Psychiatry with the support of the World Society of Dynamic Psychiatry, this event, which will continue until April 20, takes place within the framework of the scientific evolution that psychoanalysis is experiencing for the strengthening of psychiatry. dynamic in the management of psychological disorders.

This conference, which is intended to be an opportunity for medical specialists and researchers to exchange their respective expertise and experiences in the field and to explore innovations in the field of mental health, aims to integrate global social problems such as climate crisis and pandemics and to promote interdisciplinary research.

The speakers during this opening session thus underlined the importance of this meeting which tends to shed light on medical developments in this area and to find solutions in line with contemporary scientific changes, emphasizing the need to identify all social challenges and those linked to climate change, which have an impact on the psychology of those affected, through supporting scientific developments in this area and strengthening cooperation between experts around the world.

They also highlighted the efforts made by the Moroccan Society of Dynamic Psychiatry to implement a global approach in line with the latest scientific developments in light of the dynamics experienced by the field of psychiatry in Morocco.

Tribute was also paid to Dr Neshnav Nikolaj, former president of the International Society of Dynamic Psychiatry (WADP), for his contribution and research in this field over twenty years.

In a statement to MAP, the president of the Moroccan Society of Dynamic Psychiatry, Hachem Tyal, explained that dynamic psychiatry adopts adaptation methods in its treatment and does not rely solely on medications, adding that this area psychiatry has recently undergone scientific developments in terms of diagnosis and monitoring.

The organization of this congress in Morocco, which has taken important steps in the field of psychiatric treatment, will contribute to the Kingdom’s influence internationally, underlined Mr. Tyal, also vice-president of the WADP.

For his part, Dr Hassan Kharouaa, doctor and psychotherapist in Oujda, indicated that this 20th Congress constitutes a suitable opportunity for participants to exchange their expertise and experiences, and offers the opportunity for young doctors to learn up close and become aware of scientific developments in this area.

In a similar statement, he added that this meeting is also an opportunity to highlight the dynamics of Moroccan doctors in the field of psychological treatment.

Note that this Congress will see the participation of 350 doctors and experts representing 25 countries, who will notably address social and family factors as well as those linked to climate change, in addition to the migratory factor causing psychological disorders.
