Morocco is organizing, under the Presidency of HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, President of the FRMTS, the Olympic Sport Shooting World Cup, under the aegis of the International Sport Shooting Federation (ISSF), for the 2nd consecutive year, notes the Federation.

The competitions will take place in Rabat at the El Arjat Oaks club, which has been approved by the competent international authorities as suitable for hosting Olympic sports shooting events, to international standards and standards, for shooting disciplines on flying targets. of Trap and Skeet, underlines the press release.

This approval follows the efforts of the Royal Moroccan Sports Shooting Federation, in terms of equipment and infrastructure for the exercise of this sport, under the conditions and requirements of the Olympic disciplines, affirms the same source.

These efforts have made it possible to create or upgrade 15 clubs spread across the Kingdom, fully equipped with Olympic pits, and integrating perfectly into the calendar of national championship competitions for each sporting season in order to promote the practice of sports shooting in Morocco, we know.

By entrusting Morocco with the organization of the World Cup for the second time, the ISSF confirms the levels reached by the FRMTS in the management and conduct of international competitions to Olympic standards, welcomes the Federation.

“The success of the Rabat Grand Prix now becomes an annual event in the international agenda of the ISSF, and the excellent organization of the 2023 World Cup in Rabat contributes to attracting more than shooters, world, continental and Olympic title holders,” the press release reads.

Furthermore, the Federation highlights the organization of training sessions in Rabat for the upgrading of referees and technical delegates to integrate recent modifications in the competition regulations, at the same time as the introduction of electronic management of competitions and the use of VAR techniques.
